Since the SACP insignia, ID badges, and
vehicle signage include the RCMP name and/or emblem, SACP
members must
always be cognizant of protecting and promoting both the
image and the reputation of the RCMP in the community.
Our bylaws state:
- SACP members shall wear official SACP clothing and maintain suitable decorum while on patrol or at any SACP related activity
A SACP member shall not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs while performing SACP duties or representing SACP.
SACP members shall abide by all traffic and criminal laws while performing duties or acting on behalf of SACP.
SACP members shall maintain confidentiality with respect to RCMP information shared during or outside SACP meetings.
Any SACP member who has or receives driving restrictions must notify the RCMP Representative & Shift Coordinator immediately.
Any SACP member charged with a criminal offence or loss of driving privileges must notify the RCMP Representative immediately.
